Cambados is a municipality in the province of Pontevedra. This town, which is carved in to the granite, is considered one of the most beautiful, admired and important tourist destinations in Galicia, and was declared as Cultural Interest Asset in November 2001. Cambados is well worth a leisurely visit to admire all the region has to offer including the ancestral homes, beautiful town squares, historic cobbled streets, the network of museums, not forgetting the attractive wine route and hiking trails.
