Day 1: Arrival In Muscat And Visit To The Capital
Arrival at Muscat International Airport at 7:00 AM. Complete entry formalities and meet your English-speaking guide in the arrivals area. Your tour of the Omani capital begins immediately.
The first stop is the majestic Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the country's most important symbols. Visits are generally permitted from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM (except Fridays).
Mandatory dress code:
Women: Head covered, arms and legs completely covered
Men: Long pants and a sleeved shirt
Inside, you can admire the magnificent handmade Persian carpet and one of the largest crystal chandeliers in the world.
Continue to the refined Royal Opera House Muscat, an elegant example of contemporary Omani architecture and a symbol of the Sultanate's modern culture (exterior or interior visit subject to availability).
Visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum, which offers a comprehensive overview of Omani history, traditions, and lifestyle through authentic collections.
Continue to the Al Alam Palace, the Sultan's official residence, with photo stops at Al Jalali Fort and Al Mirani Fort, built during the Portuguese era.
In the afternoon, stroll through the bustling Muttrah Souq, one of the oldest markets in the Middle East, where you can lose yourself in the scents of incense, spices, and local handicrafts.
Afterwards, stroll along the picturesque Muttrah Corniche, with panoramic views of the harbor.
Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: From Muscat To Nizwa Through Mountains And Villages
After breakfast, depart for the interior of Oman, crossing increasingly mountainous landscapes.
First visit the elegant Jibreen Castle, one of the most beautiful castles in the country, renowned for its interior decorations, painted ceilings, and historic atmosphere.
Photo stop at the Bahla Fort viewpoint, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the largest fortified complexes in Oman.
Continue to the traditional village of Al Hamra, known for its perfectly preserved ancient mud houses.
Visit the picturesque Misfah Al Abriyeen, a mountaintop village famous for its agricultural terraces and falaj irrigation systems still in use.
Ascend to Jebel Shams, the highest point in the country, with a panoramic stop over the so-called "Grand Canyon of Oman," a breathtaking natural spectacle.
In the late afternoon, arrive in Nizwa.
Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Nizwa.
Day 3: Nizwa, Wadi Bani Khalid And Wahiba Desert
After breakfast, visit the famous Nizwa Souq, one of the most authentic in Oman, renowned for its dates, spices, and traditional crafts.
Visit Nizwa Fort, with its imposing circular tower offering panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains.
Continue to the magnificent Wadi Bani Khalid, a true desert oasis, characterized by turquoise waters, palm trees, and natural pools. Free time for a walk or a refreshing swim.
In the afternoon, depart for the Wahiba Sands desert, a sea of golden dunes that changes color with the sunlight.
Excursion through the dunes in a 4x4 and stop to admire a spectacular sunset in the silence of the desert.
Arrive at the tented camp.
Traditional dinner and overnight stay in the desert camp.
Day 4: From The Dunes To The Coast To Muscat
After breakfast in the desert, depart for the Omani coast along a scenic route.
The first stop is Wadi Tiwi for a short walk among palm groves, villages, and local crops.
Continue to the famous Wadi Shab, one of the country's most iconic natural sites. Here, a hike (about 45 minutes each way) through canyons and natural pools awaits, with the opportunity to swim in crystal-clear waters.
Stop at the evocative Bimmah Sinkhole, a spectacular natural sinkhole with turquoise water, ideal for photographs.
Continue to Muscat and transfer to the airport for your return flight, or you can extend your stay at one of the capital's beach resorts.
